ChemTracker is operated by CCC Impact BV (KVK: 90941284), registered in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. CCC Impact BV is the data controller responsible for your personal data. Contact: support@chemtracker.app

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect the following data when you use ChemTracker:

  • Email address— provided during account creation for authentication and communication
  • Location (optional)— if you grant location permission, we store only your city name to provide localised flight tracking. We do not store precise GPS coordinates.
  • Usage data— basic analytics such as pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve the Service

3. WHY WE COLLECT IT

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Send alerts and notifications you have opted into
  • Process subscription payments
  • Improve the Service and develop new features
  • Communicate important updates about your account or the Service

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services to operate ChemTracker:

  • Supabase— stores user account data and application data. Supabase hosts data on EU-based servers.
  • Stripe— processes subscription payments. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Resend— sends transactional emails such as account confirmation and alerts.

5. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Data is only shared with the third-party service providers listed above, strictly for the purposes of operating the Service.

6. COOKIES

ChemTracker uses only essential cookies required for authentication. We use a Supabase auth session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

7. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access— you can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — you can request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure— you can request deletion of your personal data
  • Right to data portability — you can request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Right to restrict processing — you can request that we limit how we use your data
  • Right to object— you can object to certain types of data processing

8. DATA DELETION

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email support@chemtracker.app from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

9. DATA RETENTION

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymised usage data may be retained for analytical purposes.

10. CHILDREN

ChemTracker is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete that information.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
